Manual Handling
Injuries at work from lifting, pushing, and pulling and other activities can be a serious lost for your business. WOHC can run training for your employees to help them recognise manual handling hazards, teach a range of techniques to improve personal safety, and identify better methods of handling materials and products.
These courses are taught in small groups of up to 10 trainees, either onsite or in WOHC’s premises. It is a cost-effective way of reducing the risk of a workplace injury to your staff.
WOHC trainers will assist people to learn the semi-squat technique, the recognised safe way to physically lift, move and handle items. The classes use a variety of theoretical and practical assessments which are adjusted to suit your company’s type of work.
