Fiona joined the WOHC team in August 2007. Prior to this Fiona spent seven years nursing in surgical hospital in Perth, Edinburgh, England and Waikato Hospital, where she also carried out her nursing training. Fiona says, “The move from hospital to occupational health nursing has been a thoroughly enjoyable move, especially because my passion in nursing is teaching about health and well being. I enjoy working with the WOHC team and the large variety of tasks and challenges I face on a daily basis. No two days are the same. I have learnt many new skills since being on the team such as teaching first aid, administering vaccinations and carrying out health assessments.”
