Denise has recently joined the WOHC team, after working for the past 6 years as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Waikato DHB.Prior to that Denise worked in a large Hamilton general practice, as a practice nurse and ran nurse based clinics in health promotion and prevention. She has been nursing for the past 15 years; also working in Waikato’s New Born Unit and as a Midwife.

Denise is excited about moving into the area of occupational health where there is a positive focus on health and wellbeing. Denise is strongly motivated and feels a sense of humour helps to keep life positive!

Denise has a family with 2 daughters and lives on a 30 acre block which allows her to enjoy her favourite pastime of horse riding.
